"Gloria Artis" for Andrzej Bartkowski!
Andrzej Bartkowski, President of the Mazurkas Group, was honored by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage with the Silver Medal for Merit to Culture Gloria Artis for his activities in favor of Polish culture. The distinction was awarded at the request of the Marshal of the Masovian Voivodeship, Adam Struzik
The ceremonial presentation of the Medal by Agnieszka Kuźmińska - Director of the Department of Culture, Promotion and Tourism in the Marshal's Office of the Masovian Voivodeship to the President of the Mazurkas Group - Andrzej Bartkowski took place on June 9, 2024 at the MCC Mazurkas Conference Center & Hotel**** during the 67th edition of FORUM HUMANUM MAZURKAS – a cultural project of which Andrzej Bartkowski has been the originator, patron and leader for 12 years. As emphasized in the justification for awarding the distinction, read by the General Director of MCC Mazurkas - Aneta Klepacka-Kołbuk: "Andrzej Bartkowski devoted his entire professional and social life to the dissemination of Polish culture and art and its promotion in the country and abroad. His dedication to the values of promoting Poland, its achievements in the field of all cultural activities, from music, poetry, theater, dance to painting, artistic crafts and sculpture, make him a true hero of disseminating culture to wide audiences. However, his financial support and non-profit activities make him one of the largest Polish patrons of culture.
The Gloria Artis Medal for Merit to Culture is awarded to people who particularly distinguish themselves in the field of artistic creation, cultural activity or protection of culture and national heritage by the minister responsible for culture and protection of national heritage. The medal has three degrees: 1st degree - Gold Medal for Merit to Culture Gloria Artis, 2nd degree - Silver Medal for Merit to Culture Gloria Artis, 3rd degree - "Bronze Medal for Merit to Culture Gloria Artis".
